Free, weeklong summer program exploring careers in finance and administration for high school students who are deaf or hard of hearing and entering grades 10, 11 or 12

Join the Rochester Institute of Technology’s (RIT) National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID) for Financial Wizards from July 6 to 11.

The program aims to help students increase their financial literacy skills and explore careers in finance and administration. Students will learn about jobs in corporate finance, accounting, investment banking and as a financial analyst. They will also experience trading stocks and learn the basics of investing, financial markets and economic concepts.

Activities will include:

  • Playing the hands-on, competitive Stock Market Game™ against other colleges
  • Meeting NTID faculty members and taking a guided tour of the campus
  • Visiting RIT’s Stock Market lab and learning about RIT’s Saunders College of Business programs

Students will also enjoy:

  • Recreational activities
  • Socializing with other Financial Wizards participants
  • Gaining insights into the student experience at RIT/NTID

Classes are available in English and American Sign Language.

The program is free. Space is limited to up to 25 participants.
