Festival del Niño/Children’s Festival at Harrison Park in Chicago
A free event for the entire family featuring music, art activities, wellness resources and more
The National Museum of Mexican Art will host “Festival del Niño” on June 14 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Festival del Niño is a family-friendly “field day” celebrating the community’s children and healthy, happy lifestyles. The event is at Harrison Park, where the museum is located.
The festive day will feature:
- Music and dance performances on the main stage
- Art activities such as cardboard world, paper puppet-making, friendship bracelets and more
- Carnival games such as ring toss, bowling and egg races
- Wellness resources
You can also visit the museum’s partners for more fun activities, including:
- Quesadilla-making with School House Kitchen
- Kite-flying with the Museum of Science and Industry
- Pet adoption information with PAWS
