Family Support Services’ Parent Support Group in Freeport
Share parenting experiences, resources and uplift one another at this free support group for parents of children with autism and other disabilities
Hope Wins and The Autism Program (TAP) at Easterseals will host the Family Support Services’ Parent Support Group on Jan. 27 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Parenting can be an incredible journey. It can also include difficult and unique challenges when your child has disabilities or needs additional support.
This group focuses on navigating the parenting journey with hope and togetherness. Each meeting offers parents and caregivers an opportunity to:
- Share experiences and ideas
- Gain new resources
- Strengthen their family’s support circle
- Enjoy an uplifting and supportive environment
Child care is provided on-site by Hope Wins’ volunteers. To ensure coverage, families must register in advance.
Register for Family Support Services’ Parent Support Group. Be sure to include the total number of participants, any special accommodations and the number of children needing child care.
The Family Support Services’ Parent Support Group will also meet on April 28 and May 26 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
