An opportunity for college-bound students who are deaf or hard-of-hearing sophomores, juniors and seniors to explore career options in business, computer science, engineering, health sciences, and more!

Join the Rochester Institute of Technology’s National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID) for “Explore Your Future.” Session I will run from July 18 to 22.

Explore Your Future (EYF) is a five-day summer program at the Rochester Institute of Technology in New York to introduce students to college life and exciting career paths. The program is for college-bound high school students who are deaf or hard of hearing and entering grades 10, 11 or 12 in fall 2026.

Students will focus on:

  • Personal  growth and career awareness for students as they begin thinking about college
  • Gaining hands-on experience in a variety of career areas, including art, business, health sciences, information technology and more
  • Experiencing life on a college campus
  • Making new friends from all over the country
  • Having fun

Students will also work with career counselors and faculty in small-group settings to build confidence and identify their interests and learning styles.

On the final day of each session, EYF offers a parent/guardian workshop that provides strategies to ensure your student has a successful transition from high school to college.

The cost is $900 and includes campus housing, meals, supplies and all activities.

Visit the National Technical Institute for the Deaf website to apply online. The deadline to apply is May 30.
