Elks Free Children’s Orthopedic Clinic in Morrison
A free orthopedic clinic for pediatric and teenage children with bone and joint development concerns
The Illinois Elks Children’s Care Corporation is providing a free children’s orthopedic clinic on April 21 from 8 – 10 a.m.
The clinic will be held at Morrison Community Hospital, 303 N. Jackson St., in Morrison.
The clinic with Dr. David Yeager is for children and youth up to age 18. It is an ideal time to have a child checked for any bone and joint development concerns, including:
- Joint pain
- An uncorrectable deformity
- Complaints of back, knee, leg or ankle pain
- A back curvature
There are no charges for any services performed at the clinic, but an appointment is required.
No medical referral is necessary for the clinic, however, physicians are welcome to refer patients to the clinic for a specific reason or second opinion.
The Elks Organization has been working with children with physical challenges since 1928.
The Elks provide 17 clinic locations throughout Illinois. They offer financial assistance to the best of their ability for children needing further treatment or specialty equipment when the family lacks sufficient resources.
