Day Camp for Adults with Disabilities in Rockford
Summer camp in August for adults with disabilities will be filled with outdoor learning and fun!
Join the Rockford Park District Therapeutic Recreation team for “Adult Summer Camp.” Camp will run in August from 9:30 a.m to 4 p.m. each day.
Campers will experience summer day camp at Atwood Nature Center Lodge in Seth B. Atwood Park with eight different themes to choose from:
- Aug. 5 – Mystery Monday
- Aug. 6 – Science in Nature
- Aug. 7 – Water Works
- Aug. 8 – Amazin Arts
- Aug. 12 – Camp Wildlife
- Aug. 13 – Treasure Hunters
- Aug. 14 – Atwood Explorers
- Aug. 15 – Spirit Day!
Campers will make memories enjoying:
- Outdoor games and water fun
- Nature studies and hiking
- Arts and crafts
- Scavenger hunts
- Camp songs and campfires
Each session is $32 per camper for residents and $38 per camper for non-residents.
