Courageous Kids Trisomy 13 and 18 Family Camp in Scottsville, Ky.
A free summer camp for children and youth with a variety of complex medical conditions and disabilities
Remember just being a carefree kid at camp?
The Center for Courageous Kids (CCK) provides nine different summer camp sessions from June 3 to Aug. 2.
The camp serves children ages 7 to 16 with complex medical needs and medical challenges who typically aren’t eligible for other camp programs. Each week is for a different illness or impairment.
Join CCK for the “Trisomy 13 and 18 Family Camp” from July 29 to Aug. 2.
CCK is where kids can play, explore and make new friends, no matter their medical challenges. Caring staff will help campers participate in all kinds of summer activities, including:
- Fishing
- Swimming
- Dancing
- Playing games
- Climbing and more!
CCK provides 24-hour medical coverage and an on-site medical center. Volunteer physicians and nurses provide medical care coordinated by CCK’s full-time medical director. Medical staff are also trained and experienced in all aspects of medical camping.
