Chicagoland Summer in the C.I.T.Y. Playground Tour in Evanston
Have fun all summer long at playdates for all abilities at parks throughout Chicagoland
Join C.I.T.Y. of Support for the all abilities “Summer in the CITY” playground tour on June 22 at 10 a.m.
The Summer in the CITY summer playground tour continues at Noahʻs Playground in Evanston. Let’s play!
Each playdate is a relaxed, come-and-go event. Parents and their children can arrive and leave at their own pace.
Volunteers will wear name tags and help create a safe space for children with diverse needs and abilities.
There’s no pressure to stay a specific amount of time, but time might fly while you enjoy:
- Exploring the playground’s slides, climbing areas and swings
- Making new friends
- Celebrating summer together
C.I.T.Y. of Support local leaders will host drop-in playdates in June, July and August at inclusive playgrounds throughout Chicagoland. The dates, times and parks will vary.
Playdates are not a drop-off event. Parents and guardians are responsible for watching their children.
See a schedule of the upcoming playdates in June on C.I.T.Y. of Support’s website.
The next playdate will be at Pottawatomie Park in St. Charles on June 27 at 2 p.m.
