Chicago Children’s Theatre Camp Red Kite Summer 2026 in Chicago
A theatre day camp for youth on the autism spectrum ages 8 to 22
Join the Chicago Children’s Theatre (CCT) for Camp Red Kite Summer 2026. Camp will run from July 13 through 31. Camp will be Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Chicago Children’s Theatre.
Camp Red Kite is a dynamic, engaging and welcoming theatre day camp designed for youth on the autism spectrum.
During three fun-filled weeks, campers will rotate between classes with their age-appropriate small groups. Youth with autism ages 8 to 22 will build confidence as they have fun exploring:
- Drama
- Music
- Movement
- Visual arts
A trained team of theatre artists, administrators and Chicago Public Schools special education teachers will lead Camp Red Kite activities. Team members are dedicated to creating a safe, welcoming and engaging environment for all campers.
Camp will wrap up with a final showcase featuring camper-created scenes, songs, costumes and more!
The camp fee is $950. Financial assistance is available. Please complete the online financial assistance form before registering.
