Caregiver’s Resource and Refresh Event in Marion
Find resources, learn and refresh at this free event for caregivers of adults with disabilities
Kamp Kan will host a “Caregiver’s Resource and Refresh” event on April 23 from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Cornerstone in Marion.
Spend time learning, speaking with area resource representatives and networking with other caregivers on a similar journey.
Relax with pampering sessions, including:
- Yoga
- Hair and nails
- Massage
You can also browse vendor tables and attend sessions to learn about:
- Southern Illinois case coordination
- Area day programs and group homes
- An overview of Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
- Guardianship and special needs trust planning
- Behavioral health and wellness
- Information about the Illinois Assistive Technology Program (IATP)
Division of Specialized Care for Children (DSCC) team members will also be there to answer questions about our programs and provide materials to support the transition to adulthood and adult benefits, services, and resources.
