Caregiver and Kids Craft Club in Kankakee
Free paint night focusing on self-care, creativity and fun for parents, caregivers and their children navigating the mental health system of care in Kankakee County.
Join Project SUN for the “Caregiver and Kids Craft Club” on June 8. This club meets on the second Monday of the month from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the YMCA Childcare Center in Kankakee.
The Craft Club offers parents, caregivers and their children time together each month to create and craft.
Participants will:
- Create an arts and crafts project
- Network with others
- Discover the importance of self-care
The event provides craft supplies and dinner.
The free event is open to parents, caregivers and their children who are navigating the mental health care system in Kankakee County.
