Camp Trek Adaptive Sports for Youth with Physical and/or Visual Disabilities in Green Oaks
An adaptive sports day camp where youth with physical or visual disabilities ages 6 to 14 can try a range of sports and recreational activities
Join Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association (GLASA) for “Camp Trek” on Aug. 3 to 7 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day at Oak Grove School in Green Oaks.
GLASA’s camp will offer recreational experiences designed to spark a lifelong interest in playing sports, whether recreationally or competitively.
This adaptive sports day camp provides an inclusive setting where youth with physical or visual disabilities, ages 6 to 14, can try out or learn more about a range of sports and recreational activities.
Youth are paired one-on-one with a volunteer camp counselor. Together, they will participate in adaptive sports such as:
- Tennis
- Basketball
- Softball
- Kayaking
- Yoga and more!
Campers can sign up for one or all five days of camp. One day of camp is $50 per person. All five days of camp are $150 per person.
