Camp Little Giant Lillypads Day Camp
A day camp for children and youth ages 10 to 13 who need more attention than a traditional camp may offer
Join Camp Little Giant Lillypads Session 1 from June 10-14 or Session 2 from July 8-12.
Camp will run on Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.
The camp is located on the shores of Little Grassy Lake near the Shawnee National Forest.
Lillypads is tailored to the special needs of children who struggle in social situations or need a little more attention than a traditional camp may offer. Campers with autism, generalized anxiety, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), or social anxiety are welcome. Campers do not need a diagnosis to attend.
Camp Little Giant camper to staff ratio is four to one.
Lily Pads is not not a medical/treatment/therapy-based camp. It will focus on:
- Helping campers build friendships
- Nurturing social growth
- Enjoying traditional camp activities
Campers will enjoy:
- Small groups
- Predictable environments
- Swimming and boating
- Environmental education
- Arts and crafts
- Sports and games
Every week of camp will provide memorable opportunities for growth and fun!
