Camp Lions Youth Week for Illinois Children and Youth With Vision and/or Hearing Loss in Ingleside
Free summer camp for children and youth ages 7 to 17 who are blind, vision impaired, deaf or hard of hearing
Camp Lions of Illinois is hosting “Youth Week at Camp Red Leaf Village” from June 7 to June 13. Check-in is Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. Check-out is Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m.
Camp Lions provides Illinois children and youth with vision and/or hearing loss a recreational camping experience filled with fun, challenging activities, and an opportunity to make new friends.
Camp activities will focus on building self-confidence, independence and leadership skills such as:
- Swimming and water sports
- Fishing
- Ga-ga ball, beeper and baseball
- Archery
- Arts and crafts
- Described/captioned movies
- Trail riding
Cabins have showers and washrooms in the same building.
The camp is free for eligible children and youth living in Illinois.

Register online for Camp Lions Youth Week. You must apply by May 15 to receive a free t-shirt. All applications are subject to approval.
