A free overnight camp for youth ages 11 to 18 who are grieving the death of a loved one
Annie’s Hope – The Center for Grieving Kids will host Camp Courage Teens “Road Trip” from June 9 to 13 in St. Louis.
The overnight camp will provide a safe, comfortable and fun experience where grieving youth and teens can connect.
Campers will check in at Annie’s Hope and ride a bus to the site. Campers will return home with a family member who attends the Friday closing ceremony.
Campers ages 11 to 18 will have time to enjoy free play, group fun and quiet reflection. Activities will include:
- Fishing, canoeing, paddle-boating
- Hiking, ziplining and exploring nature
- Crafting trouble dolls and building worry rockets
- Singing, dancing and storytelling
- Wacky Olympics and more
Camp Courage Teens is free. However, every family with an accepted camper should donate to the best of their ability. Visit the Annie’s Hope program page for more information.
