“Back2School Bash” in Downtown Sycamore
A free event for Sycamore families to celebrate the return to school featuring giveaways, touch-a-truck vehicles and more!
The Sycamore Community School District 427 will host its sixth annual “Back2School Bash” on Aug. 12 from 5 to 7 p.m. in downtown Sycamore at the corner of Somonauk and Elm streets.
This family-friendly event will feature interactive activities and touch-a-truck fun!
Kids of all ages can touch and explore vehicles from Sycamore’s fire, police and public works departments.
Other activities will include:
- Seventy vendors with activities
- Giveaways
- Food trucks
The event will also accept personal care donations to support the Spartan Food Pantry. Donations can include shampoo, conditioner, body wash or deodorant.
The event is free and open to the community.
