2027 Medical Insurance Grant Deadline for Illinois Families With a Child With Autism

Illinois families with a child with autism can apply for the 2027 Medical Insurance Grant

The Autism Hero Project is accepting applications for the “2027 Medical Insurance Grant” until Oct. 16.

The Autism Hero Project’s Medical Insurance Grant helps families of children with autism cover their medical insurance premiums.

To be eligible for the grant, applicants must:

• Be diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) by a qualified medical professional
• Reside in Illinois or Florida (proof of residency is required)
• Seek applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy for a minimum of 12 hours per week

Low-income and/or families with multiple dependents on the autism spectrum will receive priority.
