2026 Perandoe Transition Fair in Red Bud

Learn about transition to adulthood services and resources at this free event for all school-aged students, caregivers and families, and teachers in Monroe, Randolph and St. Clair counties

The Perandoe Transition Planning Committee will host the 2026 Transition Fair on March 19 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The event is open to all school-aged students, parents, caregivers and teachers from Monroe, Randolph, and St. Clair counties seeking post-secondary transition resources.

Presenters will provide informational sessions from 9:15 to 11:15 a.m. in two rooms:

  • Room 1: Tricia Hogan, National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)
  • Room 2: Bonita Forker, St. Clair County IGD Workforce Development

Attendees can browse about 50 exhibitors and speak with agencies about:

  • Vocational resources
  • College and post-secondary education opportunities
  • Community resources and support
  • Mental health, legal and financial assistance
  • Support for families and self-advocates

Be sure to stop by the Division of Specialized Care for Children (DSCC) booth to speak with our team about our programs and services to help families. They will also have copies of our Transition Toolkit and other materials to help you plan your future!

The event is free. You do not need to register to attend.

Free parent/guardian transportation (for Monroe and Randolph counties) is available through the Monroe Randolph Transit District (MRTD). Please request transportation by returning the form to your PECT teacher or submit it online at www.perandoe.org.
