2025 “Mom’s Retreat – For Moms of Children With Disabilities” in Galena
An overnight training and retreat for mothers and caregivers of children with disabilities focusing on learning, laughing, networking and self-care
Join STAR NET Region I and III and Easterseals Serving Chicagoland and Greater Rockford Family Support Services for the “Mom’s Retreat – For Moms of Children with Disabilities” from May 2-4 in Galena.
Check-in is at 3 p.m. on Friday, May 2. Check-out is by 12 p.m. on Sunday, May 4.
Moms of children with disabilities will:
- Network and share information
- Learn new strategies to use at school and at home
- Focus on self-care with presenter Kendra Cornett, LCSW
- Have fun crafting, journaling and taking leisurely walks
The retreat includes two dinners, two breakfasts and two nights lodging. It will also share educational information.
You must be a parent or caregiver of a child with a disability to attend,
The cost is $100 per person.
Register online for the 2025 “Mom’s Retreat – For Moms of Children with Disabilities.” You must register and pay the $100 fee by April 15.
Families with children from birth to age 8 will receive priority.
