Supporting Illinois Brothers & Sisters (S.I.B.S) will host “My Sib Story: Your Life Matters, Too” on Nov. 15 from 3 to 4 p.m.
Ginger Hill has traveled a long and bumpy road as a sibling. Join Ginger to learn about her 65 years of experience as a sib and what she has learned about obstacles that can get in the way of thriving.
Ginger will discuss:
- Assisting and managing the care of her brother with profound autism and her elderly parents
- Four obstacles that can get in the way of thriving in the adult years
- Constantly learning to overcome obstacles
- Managing the roles of caregiver, wife, mother, grandmother, employee and friend
Ginger’s message is one of overcoming obstacles that get in the way of living, as your life matters too, even in the midst of unending needs.
This event is for adult siblings, parents and providers anywhere.
