Webinar – “Preparing to Participate in Your Child’s IEP”

A free webinar for parents and guardians of young children who are either transitioning from Early Intervention services or are already receiving special education services through an IEP

STAR NET Southern Region IV will host “Preparing to Participate in Your Child’s IEP” on Zoom on Feb. 18 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

This webinar will focus on helping parents and guardians of young children who are either transitioning from Early Intervention services or are already receiving special education services through an Individualized Education Program (IEP).

The  session will cover:

• Practical strategies to prepare for your child’s IEP
• How to be an active participant in IEP meetings
• Empowering families to confidently share their knowledge and advocate effectively for their child’s needs within the school setting
• Collaborating with educators

The webinar is free. Space is limited.
