United Communities for Diverse Abilities Resource Fair in Chicago
A free in-person, inclusive resource fair where people with disabilities, families, caregivers and professionals can meet, mingle and learn about resources
Join Parents of Extraordinary Children for the “United Communities for Diverse Abilities Resource Fair” on Saturday, Sept. 26, from 12 to 3 p.m. at Mann Park in Chicago.
Enjoy a welcoming environment for networking, learning and exploring disability-related programs, services, and supports available throughout the community.
The event will include a virtual question-and-answer session with Family Matters Parent Training and Information Center from 1 to 2 p.m. and other activities, including:
- Resource and information booths
- Face painting
- Community networking opportunities
- Sensory giveaways and snacks
- Accessible entrance and accommodations
Show your support, discover valuable resources, and celebrate inclusion with others in the community.
The resource fair is free. Families, caregivers, guardians, support staff, clinicians and individuals with disabilities of all ages are welcome to attend.
Children who attend may receive a special gift while supplies last. Registration is required for children to be eligible for the giveaway.
