“Art in the Parks: Manga & Comics” Event in Champaign

Learn how to draw your favorite manga and comic characters at Art in the Parks for all ages

Join the Champaign Park District for “Art in the Parks: Manga & Comics” on Aug. 6 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Hessel Park in Champaign.

Pick up tips for drawing your favorite manga and comic characters.

These free drawing lessons will teach you how to use simple techniques to:

• Add to your art style
• Provide for greater detail
• Draw consistent characters more quickly and with confidence

The event is for people of all ages. The event will provide materials while supplies last.

The event is first-come, first-served. Seating may be limited. Please bring your own supplies, sketchbooks and lawn chairs just in case they are needed.
