Art in the Parks Event – “Clay in the Parks” in Champaign
Play with clay at this free event for the whole family!
The Champaign Park District will host “Art in the Parks: Clay in the Parks” on July 7 from 3 to 4 p.m. at Kaufman Lake in Champaign.
Join experienced ceramic instructors for this delightful clay workshop.
The instructors will help participants every step of the way.
Let your creativity flow:
- Shaping, carving and molding air-dry clay
- Making unique trivets or small sculptures
- Taking home one piece of pottery to personalize later
The clay will dry in 48 hours, and you can personalize it with paint or markers.
The event is free and open to people of all ages.
The event will provide materials while supplies last.
You do not need to register to attend.
