Special Needs Superheroes Event in Mount Vernon
A free event for children and adults with disabilities and their families featuring superheroes, face painting, live entertainment, food and fun!
Superheroes will unite at Mount Vernon Baptist Temple’s “Special Needs Superheroes Event” on Oct. 3 from 4 to 6 p.m.
Dress as your favorite superhero and head to Mount Vernon for a day filled with fun!
Enjoy meeting some of your favorite superheroes and experiencing a wide range of activities, including:
- Karaoke, live music and entertainment
- Hayride, horseback rides and a petting zoo
- Face painting, games and prizes
- A foam pit
- Haircuts
- Hot dogs, soda, snow cones and popcorn
- Door prizes and more
Don’t miss our Division of Specialized Care for Children’s (DSCC) table. Our team members can answer your questions and explain how we help children and families with special healthcare needs. They will also have resources, such as our Transition Toolkit, and more for you to take home.
The event is free and open to children and adults with disabilities as well as their family members and caregivers.
