Festival del Niño/Children’s Festival in Chicago
A free event for the entire family featuring music, art activities, wellness resources and more
The National Museum of Mexican Art in Chicago will host Festival del Niño on June 6 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the
Festival del Niño is a family-friendly “field day” celebrating the community’s children and healthy, happy lifestyles.
The fun and festive day will feature hands-on arts and crafts, games, sports and health resources.
Enjoy activities including:
- Face painting with El Valor
- Giveaways with The White Sox and the team’s prize wheel
- Health and wellness information from UI Health
- Mental health resources from Pilsen Wellness Center
- Opportunities for academic, professional and personal empowerment for young people ages 16 to 24 with The Alliance 98
- Seed planting with Windy City Harvest
- Skateboarding lessons with Little Ripper Skateboarding
