A free webinar series to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), parents and support workers learn how to spot phone and email scams
Join The Arc of Illinois for part one of its digital literacy series on “Frauds and Scams” on June 9 from 6 to 7 p.m. The webinar series is on Tuesday evenings through June 30 from 6 to 7 p.m.
In this session, participants will learn how to tell the difference between fraudulent and trustworthy communication.
Participants will explore examples of phone and email scams.
The webinar series is free. The information is intended for individuals with IDD, but parents and support workers are highly encouraged to attend.
