“Prevention Day and Back-to-School Giveaway” Event in Mulkeytown
Free, family-friendly resource event featuring giveaways for school supplies, clothing and shoes
Join the Southern Illinois Youth Empowerment Network and Take Action Today for the second annual “Prevention Day and Back-to-School Giveaway” event on July 18 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Bill Dennison Memorial Park (Christopher Ball Fields) in Mulkeyton.
Find support and free resources at this free family-focused event.
Families can enjoy a wide range of activities, including:
- Face painting and balloon animals
- Bounce houses
- A school supply giveaway
- Haircuts
- A clothing and shoe giveaway
- Vendor booths offering information and resources
- Food (first 300 free)
School physicals and dental exams and teeth cleaning will also be available.
The event is free. Participants do not need to provide proof of residency.
