“Hope Starts Here: Food, Mental Health and Community Support” in West Frankfort
Learn about new resources, find support and know that you are not alone at this free Mental Health Awareness Month event in West Frankfort
Centerstone and the City of West Frankfort will host “Hope Starts Here: Food, Mental Health and Community Support” on May 15 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Centerstone in West Frankfort.
Join this event to recognize Mental Health Awareness Month and strengthen community well-being.
Activities will include:
- An unveiling of a new outdoor food pantry to expand access to food and essential resources for individuals and families in need
- The reading of an official proclamation honoring Mental Health Awareness Month and reaffirming the community’s commitment to mental wellness
The event is free. Everyone is welcome to attend.
You can make a difference by bringing a non-perishable food item, hygiene product or cleaning product to help stock the new outdoor pantry.
