A free, two-part series for Illinois families with questions about using, learning and advocating for assistive technology for people with disabilities

Join Family Matters Parent Training and Information Center and Infinitec for “The Team Agrees Assistive Technology Is a Need – Now What?” on April 28 from 12 to 1 p.m.

In this session, the Individualized Education Program (IEP) team has come to a consensus – assistive technology (AT) tools and services should be explored to determine if there is an educational need.

Now what?

Join representatives from Infinitec to walk through:

  • What those next steps look like regarding assessment and implementation
  • How families can work alongside the team as active members
  • Supporting thorough and timely assessment and consistent implementation in both the home and school environments

Participants will leave this session with proactive strategies to overcome barriers relative to AT assessment and implementation.
