A new inclusive cheer team designed for boys and girls with disabilities in grades third through eighth

Join the Wheaton Cheer Association and the Wheaton Park District for “Wheaton Ignite” from July 13 to Nov. 30. The team will practice for one hour each week (specific days and times will be announced).

Wheaton Ignite is the Wheaton Cheer Association’s brand-new inclusive cheer team for boys and girls with disabilities in grades third through eighth.

This cheer team will provide a supportive, empowering environment where athletes can:

  • Build confidence and teamwork
  • Express their school spirit
  • Showcase their abilities

Wheaton Ignite athletes will have their own unique uniform and will perform at competitions, showcases and select football games throughout the season.

Practice will be one hour each week from July through November.

The cost is $345 for residents and  $431 for non-residents. The cost includes a practice uniform, a competition uniform, a bow, competition fees and an end-of-season gift for athletes.
