This powerful session will equip families with practical strategies to help children with disabilities build and nurture self-advocacy skills.

Learn how to support your child with:

  • Understanding their strengths and needs
  • Communicating effectively
  • Becoming an active participant in their education

Participants will explore:

  • Age-appropriate ways to build self-advocacy skills over time
  • Ways to encourage student involvement in IEP meetings and decision-making

Parents and caregivers will leave with tools for fostering independence while still providing the guidance and support your child needs to succeed.
