Overnight Camp in Ingleside for Youth With FAS/FASD
A week-long overnight camp for youth diagnosed with or suspected of having FAS or FASD
Camp – A FASD Community will host a week-long camp for youth ages 9 to 18 who are diagnosed with or suspected of having fetal alcohol syndrome (FAS) or fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD).
The camp will run from Aug. 9 – 14 at YMCA Camp Duncan in Ingleside.
Campers will have fun while building skills in a positive and safe environment that includes:
- A two-to-one camper-to-staff ratio
- On-site nurses
- On-site clinical team
Campers will learn and gain self-esteem through:
- Making arts and crafts
- Playing games
- Swimming
- Boating and exploring other outdoor activities
The camp is for youth ages 9 to 18 who are diagnosed with or suspected of having FAS/FASD.
Camp is $1,195 per camper. Financial help is available for families in need. Learn more about camp scholarship eligibility and apply online.
