FACES Camp in Georgia for Children With Facial Differences
Experience outdoor adventures, non-competitive sports, campfires, crafts and more at this free camp for kids with a facial difference!
Join FACES: The National Craniofacial Association (FACES) for “Faces Camp” from June 14-19 at Camp Woodmont in Cloudland, Ga.
FACES Camp is a traditional co-ed overnight summer camp for youth with facial differences ages 7 to 17. It includes the “Bring a Buddy to Camp” program, which allows campers to invite a sibling or friend to experience camp together while meeting kids with similar medical conditions.
Campers will bunk together in assigned cabins with a camp counselor who has a craniofacial difference and understands the campers’ needs. Activities will include:
- Exploring the climbing wall, zip line and ropes course
- Discovering drama, dance and arts and crafts
- Playing games
- Enjoying swimming, fishing, horseback riding and more!
FACES Camp can accommodate children with feeding tubes and tracheostomies who can walk the wooded campus and do not require a personal nurse or caregiver.
The camp is free. A $50 refundable deposit is required to save your child’s spot.
