Horizon Summer Camp for Teens and Adults With Physical Disabilities in Hudson
Experience a range of adapted sports and activities at this free camp for people 18 and older with physical disabilities
The Association of Horizon will host “Horizon Summer Camp” from July 26 to Aug. 1.
Enjoy a week of fun, adventure and learning at Timber Pointe Outdoor Center in Hudson, Illinois.
The camp pairs campers with physical disabilities with non-disabled volunteers to help them experience adapted sports and activities, including:
- Swimming and horseback riding
- Boating and canoeing
- Archery
- Performing arts and live entertainment
- Educational workshops
The camp is free to all participants.
Anyone 18 years of age or older with a physical disability can attend the Horizon Summer Camp program. Applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Campers must meet the Camper Criteria and return physicals, insurance cards and additional forms by June 10.
