Goodman Theatre staff are trained to welcome and assist guests with their needs. Guests are free to talk, leave their seats and enjoy quiet areas within the theater building as needed during the performance.

- Lower sound levels, especially for startling or loud sounds
- Low house lights during the performance
- Reduced strobe lighting or lighting focused on the audience
- Limited number of people at the performance
