Join the Goodman Theatre for a sensory-friendly performance of “A Christmas Carol 2025” on Dec. 28 at 2 p.m.

Rediscover the magic of Dickens’ classic at this performing arts experience for people of all ages with autism and other neurodiversity, sensory sensitivities and more.

Goodman Theatre staff are trained to welcome and assist guests with their needs. Guests are free to talk, leave their seats and enjoy quiet areas within the theater building as needed during the performance.

Other accommodations include:

  • Lower sound levels, especially for startling or loud sounds
  • Low house lights during the performance
  • Reduced strobe lighting or lighting focused on the audience
  • Limited number of people at the performance
  • Space for standing and movement
  • Sensory bags to check out from guest services
