Free virtual three-part book study on inclusion and supporting your child’s education journey for families and educators of children with disabilities
STAR NET Region IV and STAR NET Regions I & III will host a virtual book study webinar series, “Empowering Your Child to Fly: A Family’s Guide to Early Childhood Inclusion.” The three-part series will be from 12 to 1 p.m. on:

- Jan. 30
- Feb. 13
Dive into this book study of “Empowering Your Child to Fly: A Family’s Guide to Early Childhood Inclusion” by Jani Kozlowski with STAR NET presenters Sheri Kraus and Sheila Yates.
Sheri and Sheila will help family members of children with disabilities take a deeper dive into:
- Reading and discussing sections of the book
- Exploring inclusion and its importance in early childhood education
- Supporting a child’s educational journey
All participants will receive a copy of the book.
The webinar series is free and open to family members and educators.

Those seeking professional development must attend all three webinars and complete the reading assignments to receive 7.5 credit hours.
