An event featuring Mr. and Mrs. Deaf Santa Claus for children and families with all types of hearing loss
The Chicago Park District Deaf and Hard of Hearing Programs and CHS Youth Connections are hosting “Breakfast with Mr. and Mrs. Deaf Santa Claus” on Dec 7 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Archer Park in Chicago.
The event will include:
- Crafts and games
- American Sign Language (ASL) musical storytelling
- Gifts for infants and children up to 12 years old
Don’t forget to bring your camera to capture all of the smiles!
The event is open to children with all types of hearing loss, their hearing siblings and hearing children with parents who are deaf or hard of hearing.
The cost is $5 per person. Children under 5 are free. Cash only.
Sign up online for “Breakfast with Mr. and Mrs. Deaf Santa Claus.” You must register to attend. The deadline to register is Dec. 1.
