Webinar – “Living With Epilepsy”
Learn from someone with epilepsy about epilepsy, seizure training and tips for navigating the condition
The Arc of Illinois‘ Family-to-Family Health Information Center and Illinois Life Span Program (ILS) will host “Living With Epilepsy” on Oct. 14 from 12 to 1 p.m.
Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago (EFGC) Community Education Specialist and Memory Coach Alex Houston will share about living with epilepsy.
Alex will provide insight into:
- Understanding epilepsy
- Building a community
- Navigating the daily challenges with the resources available
- Seizure training, accommodations and other foundations
Alex has lived with epilepsy since he was 10 years old. He is an advocate and shares his story through each certified seizure training and educational program he sets up to help raise awareness.
The webinar is free and open to anyone who wants to learn more about epilepsy.
