The Arc of Illinois‘ Family-to-Family Health Information Center and Illinois Life Span Program (ILS) will host “Pathway to Mental Health Behavioral Health Care and Ongoing Navigation (BEACON)” on Zoom on Sept. 9 from 12 to 1 p.m.
Is your child struggling with mental or behavioral health challenges?
BEACON is a centralized, behavioral health resource for Illinois youth and families seeking help and support.
Presenters Louisa Silverman and Dana Weiner will provide an overview of BEACON and how it can help with:
- Providing information about behavioral health services focused on your child’s needs
- Learning which community-based resources are available near you
- Learning what state-funded programs your child may be eligible for
The webinar is open to people with disabilities, parents, guardians and anyone who wants to learn more about this tool for Illinois families.
