Join the University of Chicago Medicine (UChicago Medicine) and Comer Children’s (UCM) for the Pediatric Hearing Loss Webinar Series. Parents and caregivers will learn about the latest information and support resources for children who are deaf or hard of hearing (D/HH).
“Back to School Virtual Book Fair: Fostering Literacy in Your D/HH Child” will begin the series on Zoom on Aug. 6 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Gain valuable insights into pediatric hearing loss and ways to support students who are D/HH.
This session will include:
- Exploring literature from authors who are D/HH, parents of children who are D/HH and audiologists
- Discussing tools to promote literacy development for children who are D/HH
- Connecting with a community of families and professionals navigating similar experiences
