A free, fun-filled event for students and their families

Join the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum (ALPLM) for the “Back to School Bash” on Aug. 2 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

ALPLM’s education team and community partners will get you pumped up about starting the upcoming school year.

This fun-filled, hands-on day in Union Park will include:

  • Free haircuts for students
  • Story time
  • Games and hands-on activities
  • Conservation and recycling activities
  • Interactive animal experiences from the Henson Robinson Zoo
  • Safety education for youth and adults
  • Special visits from first responders and a chance to explore a fire truck, police car and ambulance

The event is free. In case of bad weather, all activities will take place in the library.
