“Make Your Own Comic Class” for Youth Who Are Deaf, DeafBlind and Hard of Hearing in Des Plaines
Free make-your-own comic class for youth who are Deaf, DeafBlind and hard of hearing and their siblings
Join the Chicago Hearing Society for the “Make Your Own Comic Class” on July 19 from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Des Plaines Public Library.
You won’t need any drawing experience to have fun and learn how to make your own short comic!
This class will teach you the steps for:
- Setting up your comic
- Writing your comic
- Drawing your comic
This hands-on workshop is for youth ages 6 to 14 who are Deaf, DeafBlind and hard of hearing. Siblings are also welcome.
This free event is in American Sign Language (ASL) and English.
