The National Phenylketonuria (PKU) Alliance will host “Navigating College with PKU: Strategies for a Successful Transition” on June 17 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Whether you’re a high school student preparing for college or a parent supporting the transition, this webinar will offer practical advice and personal stories to help you navigate this important life stage.
Panelists will include American University Campus Dietitian Juliana Sampaio, MS, RD, LDN, and young adults with firsthand experience managing PKU in college.
The discussion will cover key topics such as:
- Managing dietary needs on campus
- Navigating independence
- Accessing support services
- Maintaining health and academic balance
