Chicago Abilities Expo 2025
Free, three-day event including workshops, resources, product demonstrations, adaptive activities and more
The 2025 Abilities Expo Chicago will take place from June 20 to 22. Expo hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
The Expo is a one-stop shop for products, technology, workshops and adaptive activities for individuals with disabilities of all ages.
People with disabilities and their families can also explore and discover resources designed to improve accessibility and independence, including:
- Products and game-changing devices
- Assistance animals
- Adaptive sports and dance
- Connections with others in the disability community
- Workshops and more!
Visitors can explore the many workshops and meet accessible travel influencer Cory Lee. Cory will provide tips for seeing the world as a wheelchair user on:
- Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Saturday, 3:45 to 4:45 p.m.
Other workshops will include:
- Friday, 12:45 to 1:30 p.m. – “All About Service Dogs”
- Friday 2:30 to 3 p.m. – “Wheelchair Evaluation/Fitting: How to be an Active Participant”
- Friday, 4:15 to 4:45 p.m. – “From Discovery to Diagnosis: A Parent’s Guide to Finding Your Child’s Voice”
- Saturday, 11:15 a.m. to 12 p.m. – “Your ABLE Life!”
- Saturday, 12:45 to 1:15 p.m. – “Adaptive Dance Party!”
- Sunday, 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. – “Better Support for Kids: Insights from Moms”
- Sunday, 2:45 to 3:45 p.m. – “From Discovery to Diagnosis: A Parent’s Guide to Finding Your Child’s Voice”
Free wheelchair repair will be available daily on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Expo is free to attend.
