The Kaskaskia Region Transition Planning Committee (Kaskaskia Region TPC) and Kaskaskia Special Education Cooperative (KSED 801) will host the Transition Resources and Job Fair for Individuals with Disabilities on May 9 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This is a great opportunity for students and their family members to meet with local and statewide agency representatives.

Participants can ask questions and learn about:

  • Kaskaskia College
  • Area employment opportunities
  • Transition services and supports
  • Recreational programs
  • Independent living and services for people with disabilities of all ages

Members of the Division of Specialized Care for Children (DSCC) team will be there to answer questions and explain how we help children and families with complex healthcare needs and disabilities. You can also pick up resources such as our Transition Toolkit, Guide to Adult Benefits, Services and Resources, and more. Please be sure to stop by our table!

The Illinois Secretary of State, Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) will be on hand to print state identification cards for a small fee. Individuals must bring the proper documentation and make an appointment in advance.
