The Spina Bifida Association will host a Community Information Session on “Navigating Employment and Benefits at Age 18” on April 3 from 6 to 7 p.m.

A lot changes when you turn 18.

This free webinar will offer information and tips on navigating benefits, employment and health care when you transition to adulthood.

Join Orlando Health Spina Bifida Adult Transition Care Coordinator Shannon Bevans, LCSW. She will provide insights on:

  • How to find a physician who provides adult care
  • Benefits after the age of 18 or after leaving the pediatric clinic
  • Financial planning
  • Vocational rehabilitation and employment
  • Home and community-based waivers
