Develop new skills and have fun fishing at this event for youth with disabilities ages 6 and up

Capital City Fishing Has No Boundaries (FHNB) will host its annual “Youth Fishing Event” on May 3 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Check-in is at 9 a.m. at Hope Pavilion.

Enjoy the great outdoors and build your fishing skills!

Participants will have fun fishing at Southwind Park’s pond. FHNB will provide adaptive equipment and bait so that you and your child can:

  • Pair up with a knowledgeable fishing buddy
  • Make new friends
  • Learn a new hobby or build additional skills
  • Feel a sense of accomplishment
  • Share your love of fishing

The event is open to children and teens with any disability, ages 6 and up. All children must have an adult chaperone at all times.

Fishing will wrap up at 11:30 a.m. Participants will receive a t-shirt, hat and award.

The registration fee is $10. Space is limited to 40 participants.
