Students who are deaf or hard of hearing can head to camp to explore science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) majors and careers in the heart of Washington, D.C.

Gallaudet University will host “Discover College and Careers in STEM (DC² in STEM)” from June 14-20.

The DC² in STEM camp experience is for students interested in pursuing a career in STEM and related fields.

Campers will:

  • Explore STEM-related programs
  • Conduct hands-on experiments
  • Identify their strengths and interests through career assessments
  • Develop a transition portfolio
  • Meet successful Deaf professionals working in STEM at Gallaudet

Students will also experience the Gallaudet campus and the excitement of Washington, D.C.!

The program is limited to students who are deaf or hard of hearing interested in pursuing a career in STEM and entering grades 10 to 12.

The camp cost is $750​. Financial assistance is available.
