Learn steps for engaging all learners and creating inclusive environments for young children at this free interactive workshop for educators, social workers and family members

Star Net Region II, Jefferson Early Childhood Center/CUSD 200 and DuPage County-Wide Institute Day have teamed up to host “Embracing Every Learner: Building Inclusive Early Childhood Environments” on Feb. 28 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Annie Boldt and Brianna Sayre Geiser will lead this interactive experience designed to empower early childhood educators and families.

In addition to gaining practical, easy-to-implement ideas for fostering inclusivity in early childhood settings, participants will explore:

  • Inclusive practices that celebrate diversity and promote a sense of belonging for all children, including those with special needs
  • Innovative techniques to engage every child in meaningful learning experiences
  • Adapting activities and materials to meet diverse learning styles and needs
  • Establishing routines that promote independence and self-confidence

The workshop is open to family members, administrators, early childhood educators and others working with young children with and without disabilities.
